Staplehouse

Amanda: One if my favorite meals ever! The 12 course tasting menu was incredible. I think we both agreed that the carrot dish was the prettiest. Though, I also loved the look of the zucchini ribbon disk on top of the summer squash. The fennel "soup" was a fun experience, as the truffle of soup burst in my mouth, but I'm not a huge fennel fan. The swordfish and chicken liver tart were highlights of the menu. I also loved the duck dish, but George was less impressed. Some of the dishes don't photograph that well. For example, you can't really get a good sense of the dessert or the swordfish, since some of the ingredients cover the others. We finished the meal with a cocktail in the upstairs bar, Paper Crane. Super cute. Great drink. And while I probably won't splurge on another visit to Staplehouse anytime soon, I will be back to visit the bar.

George: I like it.
